Chickpea cauliflower curry soup and my new range hood

This chickpea cauliflower curry soup is one of my favorite soups, and now I will be making it really often.

Yes, from now on I will be making this soup and other really fragrant recipes really often. Do you want to know why? I have a new range hood. I’m so excited we made this upgrade to my kitchen during the weekend! I was in desperate need for one. My range is 36 in, it has six burners and it is really powerful. I was not using it to its full potential because the range hood I had didn’t work at all.

But thanks to the beauty of online shopping I was able to choose a NEW RANGE HOOD  from THE HOME DEPOT’S WEBSITE. This worked perfectly for us because we needed to measure the existing cabinet at the same time we chose our new hood.  We decided not to modify the cabinets and chose a range hood that could fit underneath it. It was not an easy task, but thanks to the good and clear information on The Home Depot’s website we made the right choice.

I chose a hood from the brand ZLINE. This range hood is quiet, powerful, has 3 potent LED lights and improves the air quality of my home. Its motors are so powerful that they can clear grease and unwanted particles.

And the best part of ordering it through The Home Depot’s website…. It arrived at my doorstep!

The instructions are very clear, and the hood is very easy to install… my husband and I did the installation of the hood our weekend home update project.

So now, with this new range hood, I can cook to my heart’s content, not worrying about having a smelly home. I made this chickpea cauliflower curry soup to put the range hood to the test. Curry and cauliflower are a bit smelly and guess what. The hood passed the test! After cooking the soup, there was no sign at all of it in the rest of the house.

Here is the recipe for one of my favorite soups ever.
