  • Coconut oil. You can substitute it for another vegetable oil.
  • Sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and vanilla.
🔥IMPORTANT

This bread takes longer in the oven than a normal bread, it will be ready when the top is completely browned and you touch it and it is firm to the touch.

It is important that you let it cool before cutting and tasting. As the bread cools, it becomes firmer.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 tablespoons ground flaxseed
  • 3 tablespoons water
  • 2 cups almond flour
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup mashed banana
  • ¼ cup coconut oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350ºF
  • In a small bowl, mix the ground flaxseed and the water. Set aside.
  • In a large bowl mix the almond flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and cinnamon.
  • In a separate bowl, combine the mashed banana, coconut oil, and vanilla. Add the ground flaxseed mixture. Mix well and put this mixture in a well greased loaf pan or prepared with a parchment paper.
  • Bake for 50 minutes or until golden brown and firm to the touch. When you put a toothpick in the center it should come out clean.
  • Let cool completely before testing.
