Cherries are one of my favorite fruits ever. Since I was a kid, anything cherry flavored was always my first pick. I love everything about them, the flavor, the form of the fruit, and all the stories behind them. I remember the first time I saw a cherry tree blossom, I was speechless… so much beauty left me paralyzed. Have you seen one?
And now I couldn’t be happier because on Thursday I’m visiting a cherry orchard. How cool is that? The blossoming season ended bringing the much anticipated harvest season. Can you imagine tasting a freshly cut cherry? I can’t wait. I am super excited because I’ve never seen cherries as big as the ones from Superfresh Growers.
It is true… you need two bites to finish them, they are JUMBO and as sweet and delicious as a cherry can be.
I love them so much that for this recipe I just sliced them in half and removed the pit. This three layer chia pudding is great because it is easy, healthy and DELICIOUS. This three layered chia pudding is made with vanilla and chocolate chia bases topped off with cherries

three layer chia pudding
Hope you like it. I prepared it with regular chia seeds, but if you happen to have any picky eaters at home, you could also use white chia seeds. If you liked it please don’t forget to share the recipe, the cherries, and the blog.
Three layer chia pudding
Ingredients
Vanilla chia pudding
- 4 tablespoons chia seeds
- 1 cup almond milk or another vegetable milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
Chocolate chia pudding
- 4 tablespoons chia
- 1 cup almond milk or another vegetable milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 tablespoons of maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder
1 cup cherries, halved and pitted
mint leaves for garnishing
Instructions
- To make the vanilla chia pudding mix all the ingredients in a bowl and let it rest for at least half an hour.
- For the chocolate pudding, mix the ingredients in a bowl and let it rest for half an hour.
To serve.
- In a glass or a bowl add 4 tablespoons of vanilla chia pudding, then 4 tablespoons of chocolate chia pudding.
- Finish with the halved cherries and garnish with a mint leaf.
