Ingredients
2poundsfresh cranberries
1cupsugar
1cinnamon stick
1clove
1orangezest and juice
Instructions
Put all the ingredients in a pot over medium heat and stir until the sugar dissolves and the cranberries are cooked. It takes about 15 minutes to be ready.
Notes
For this recipe, you can use fresh or frozen cranberries. If you use frozen, you do not have to thaw them first.
I like a thick cranberry sauce, but if you prefer a looser version, add 1/4- 1/2 cup water to the mix or more orange juice.
