Chocolate and red wine cake with cherries and pistachios

Ingredients
  

  • 1 2/3 cups flour
  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • pinch of salt
  • 3/4 cup red wine
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2/3 agave nectar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1 cup frozen cherries
  • 1/4 cup chopped pistachios

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350ºF.
  • Mix the flour, cocoa, baking powder and pinch of salt.
  • Add the red wine, vegetable oil, agave nectar and vanilla. Mix well until all the ingredients are integrated.
  • Line a brownie pan with parchment paper and pour the mixture evenly.
  • Top with the cherries and pistachios.
  • Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until the edges look done.
  • Be careful though not let it dry.
